Hear my prayer Lord
Show me the way
Let my words be the cord
To create inner peace to stay
Open my heart to show love
Cleanse the anger from my soul
Let love spread and fly like a dove
Have the anger go away just like a cold
Should the peace go on forever
May if flow like blood in vains
Please Lord let this be everyone's endeavor
Let them have peace like a priest ordained

I'm not religious but i got to say, not only is this a most beauitful pome and well written i might add, but in my estimation is what a prayer should sound like, i use 2 be a catholic now i'm atheist, but as i said this sounds very sincere, and i don't hear the usual holier than thou anger behind the words like some of the other in your face preaching that other religious poets of late r spewing up, i dare say this very comforting 2 read, u have a nice style as well as a most sincere persona to your writting, if i were god you'd be the one i'd answer and tell the others not 2 quit there day jobs.
