Failure to Win

Contributed by patti on Wednesday, 23rd November 2005 @ 08:47:18 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I can only see shadows on walls
A call
As I let myself be hurt
Drown
By my killer instinct of failure
Emerges in my head
I say I only have one chance left
I lay down and I look up
I see white turn into black
Me turning into nothing
I fall because I let myself
I deliver pain just so I can feel something underneath the numbness
Im hurting no other and myself
I lay down and I see white turn into black
Not knowing what to do next
Knowing it was me who called upon failure
It was me who brought does shadows
And it was me who got hurt
My answer will only rely on my actions and as we all know actions speak louder than words and words are nothing if not expressed
Yet at this point life in this world has nothing to give
Im ready to say goodbye and forever hold my peace
Because I brought this upon myself
My misery to be solved in my actions
