Spoken to in tongues unbenownst to me
Lost in translation, forbidden beneath the sea
Ancient mythical teachings no longer being taught
Learning as we do how to buy and be bought
Amidst this smokescreen supplied to us all
Is the reality we seek, the ability to crawl
Too quick are we to believe what we see
Unknowing to us still what lies beneath
The pumping and beating of ones heart
knowledge lost right from the start
All around us we have so much more to see
The likelyhood of point zero energy being used
Controlling the masses, dangling the carrot
Exploring no longer do we reach for the stars
Instead lost in our lives we remain in our cars
Hoping one day to be free, allowing all to see
That beyond our workings, beneath our greed
There is a meaning, a reason why we bleed.

Tom what can I say that I haven't said before. Your work is always enjoyable and captivating to your reader. Your poem rings the bells of truth.
Hoping one day to be free, allowing all to see
That beyond our workings, beneath our greed
There is a meaning, a reason why we bleed.
Deep and so real. Well done.
