In the heat of the moment
two hearts ablaze
Blinded by the fire
their minds numbed and dazed
But in the smoldering ashes
of a dying flame
What they thought too be love
feels not the same
For what was, is gone
what was it ,they shared?
was it not love, to whom their souls they bared
Fading passions, lust fulfilled
the flickering flame dies, all, is now still
Under the cover of darkness
two strangers, once again
Playing games of the heart
that neither can win
So easily deceived, is the heart
by lies spoken
And when it ends
someones heart, is always left broken
