A pansy instead of a man
What is happening I can't understand
I love you I want you close
You push me away cut me loose
Sent away
Forgotten vows of yesterday
How can I ever forget
Was I mean or too much debt
It doesn't matter now
Then it does somehow
I see you too many times out of reach
Love emotions feelings I had I search
I search to no avail
From a distance I live in hell
Wanting you
Not wanting you
A love's heart burns
My body yet yearns
Then for a night
I feel calm I feel alright
In God's mercy
For a bit I can see
It wasn't me it wasn't you
The times we shared so much untruth
Not that we didn't love
Was it the world that pushed and shoved
I go I live my own way
I but exist day by day
Purpose doesn't mean a thing
Feeling life went down a drain
Still I think of you
Feeling blue
I push on
Even I can sing a song
A moment when I feel strong
Then I see you
My love was true
Out of reach
My love my leach
It won't let go
Sucking life stealing my soul
A fire burns
Death I yearn
We'll each be happier
Yet I cry a tear
Traveling to a beat of a different drum
I wait yet it never comes
I see you out of reach too many a time
My heart beats alone out of rhyme
I live on and on
I sing my song
Thinking always of you
I miss you honey I sing the blues

I echo the Eternal Dreamer. It is a lovely and so sad song.
The feeling of urposelessness is always te saddest thing.
But there is a purpose behind every thing.
Take heart! Nothing is ever lost. Especially love!
