I
I make myself invisible because I dont want to be seen
I remain silent because I dont want to be heard
I try to appear mysterious because I dont wan to be known
I dont offer my opinion because I dont want them to know I care
I stay here because I dont want to be there
I want to grow feathers so I can fly away
I dont put down roots because I dont want to grow
I try not to lean much because I dont want to know
I like my vision blurry because I dont wan to see
I dont want your advice because I like being me
I was born to be like no one else
The only me I wan to be is myself
You may not approve or even agree
But I do ask of you to let me be me.
