Thought we worked things out
It keeps on getting worse
As days go on
We are losing our lives
Losing our trust
Its getting lighter
And your drifting away
Like the wind
We never wanted this to end
Just one night
And everything goes down
As we lay there
Blankets over us
Keeping us warm
Our bodies pressed against each other
You feel cold
I wrap my arm around you
You whisper in my ear
That your sorry
Feeling your warm breath against my ear
I kiss you
I lay with my eyes open
As the night passes on
Can't fall asleep
I think of you
Wanting this night to never end
When morning comes
It will all be over
I almost had you before tonight
But its all done
A loud noise is heard
We wake up to the sound of an alarm
That was the last time
That I got to be close to you
To this day
I won't forget that night
That we shared
