the sun shines outlside
but i can never
tell
the sun never shines
inside this old
cell
still i am human
my emotions are
real
even if nobody notices
or cares how i
feel
the company i keep
is concrete and
stone
anywhere would be better
than being here
alone
the verdict read guilty
so i'm paying my
dues
but soon i'll be free
free from these county
blues

I liked the flow of this, should put it to music it would fit nicely. Am glad that you paid your dues and are out to write about it( smiles)
