Cloaked in morning mist She pulls her bleeding body through the grey streets Finding out the paths that lay behind her In tattered shreds of silk and canvas interlaced with dirt and grime
Seven hours of broken skin Seven hours of bruised lips Seven hours of bleeding wrists
Arms and legs and feet wrapped in bandages Morning birds fly south from her presence Heart stopped
Seven hours before Seven hours of death upon white carpeted hotel floors Seven hours of visions swept past bloodshot eyes
Lace ribbons tattered in her raven black hair Splattered crimson streaked Wandering in tear stained rags
Seven hours of blood flowing Seven hours of pacing endlessly Seven hours watching him die slowly
She watches her strikes bleed She wraps him in bandages made from hotel sheets It's just a little too fast
Seven years of abuse Seven days of planning Seven hours until her plane arrives To take her away from here

I don't get who is the one being beaten. Was she beaten and this is her revenge or did she beat him and this time was too much |
