oh come ye Angel of Death
take from me my dying breath
touch my dying soul with your cold hand
then togeather well ride to that promised land
we'll be carried away by the great speckled bird
no longer straying from the herd
cary me away to see my old man
oh come ye Angel of Death as soon as you can

| I often called upon the Angel of Death to carry me away as well. At times i still want her to come so I know how you feel. This was a very good poem. |
