"Jesus" on an airfreshner Made in Taiwan, just for you I am quite sure that he would approve
Christians busy peddling cakes and pies and plates To raise God's roof and sing
I didn't even know he had one.
An ex-felon turned preacher Tells me I am going to hell I guess I will, on vacation and see him there as well
The Lord and I share a cold beer On my front porch And try not to sneer
We talk of his many faces And of mine We share a laugh In every known language
We talk of trinities And bad things in threes And ponder what or who That third might be.

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or your just being hypocritical. After reading th poem I really am not sure what your position on God even is do you it, are you poking fun at it or what. Just things to take into consideration. |

I read a comment on here about you being hypocritical and of that certain person not knowing what your position with God is. But I am sure if he/she reads this poem twice they'll know what were you talking about. God does not need a roof, or judge you... God is everywhere, in nature and have different faces... birds, plants... he is everywhere, in every person and i believe that is why you said "We talk of His many faces". Also when reading poetry people should always think outside the box and not take anything personal. Well that is my opinion... and my opinion about your poem is that i liked the reading of it and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the wonderful gift of your pen. Bravo!!

I luv it!
A person that can't understand this is sad.
I luv your perception of God. I understand this perfectly.
Great writing-n-understanding of God.
Awesome.
