You were, in short, my everything
My heart, my love, my soul,
You took with you my everything
As you walked out on my soul,
I don't know why I didn't cry
Though it hurts so much without you,
And though I felt my heart would die
I could not show my pain to'ward you,
I knew I should not love so much
and still I gave you everything,
That I am left with nothing much
For I have lost my everything.
