i left home at seventeen
thinking i knew it all
but i was ignorant and green
i met Hanks ghost on a lost highway
by the emptiness in his soul
i knew it wasnt where i wanted to stay
i shot pool with the devil in a smoky room
so far from God's grace
praying he didn't come back soon
i ignored everything i knew was good
refusing to cary my own cross
even tough i knew i should
today i'm comming home where i belong
trought many dangers toils and snares i have come
now im here to sing Gods love song
