common man

Contributed by outlaw_mutiny on Friday, 2nd December 2005 @ 09:24:15 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

im a beer drinking son of a *****
dont need fame and dont need to be rich
ill never sell my soul to a rich man in a suit
and well be ok if you just let me do what i do

if my tattoes and cigaretts bother you a bit
tell someone who cares cause i dont give a *****
dont give a ***** whats wrong or right
dont care if i die tonight
dont care what the experts say
im gonna write my poems anyway

ill say whats on my mind so sory if you get hurt
i've been to jail more often than i've been to church
they cant tell me what i dont already know
the preacher wants my money any jesus wants my soul

im not a man youll ever see cry
didnt even do it the day my daddy died
i still wont do it if you dont like my poems and say i wont last
cause ill just read them to myself you you can kiss my ***

ill raise hell till the that i die
and ill tell my storie in every poem i write
i'll always tell the truth when i raise my right hand
even if i get big and rich ill stay a common man

(EXTENDED VERSION FOR MOMMA)
MOM DONT PAY ATTENTION TO A WORD I'VE SAID
ILL BE A CHURCH GOING JESUS LOVING SAINT TILL I TURN UP DEAD
YOU KNOW I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
AND MY ENEMIES TOO
I'LL FORGIVE AND FORGET NOMATTER WHAT THEY DO
MY DAYS OF HELL RAISING NEVER REALY CAME
BUT IF I DID'T ACT SO TOUGH I WOULDNT BE TREATED THE SAME
I DID TELL THE TRUTH WHEN I RAISED MY RIGHT HAND
EVEN IF WHEN IM BIG AND RICH I'LL STAY A GOD FEARING MAN
