YOUR EYES THEY WHERE SO SWEET
YOU NEVER TOOK THEM OFF ME
YOU NEVER LOOKED AT ME WITH HURT
YOU NEVER LOOKED AT ME WITH TEARS OR A FEAR
BUT NOW IT HAS ALL CHANGED
YOUR EYES ARE NOT THE SAME
SAD AND COLD AT TIMES
NOT BECAUSE YOUR MEAN BUT FROM ME
PAIN AND HURT MADE IT THIS WAY
THE STARS ARE GONE NO SHINE LEFT TODAY
YOU STILL LOOK BUT FEAR EVERY TIME
NOT KNOWING IF ITS GOING TO BE THE LAST TIME
NOT KNOWING IF IAM GOING TO SLIP
NOT KNOWING IF IAM GOING TO LET YOU HIT BOTTOM
THE STARS ARE GONE NOT KNOWING WHEN TO RETURN
SOME DAYS I SIT AND THINK IF THEY WILL NEVER RETURN
I FEAR BUT NOT LIKE YOU
YOU FEAR EVERY THING ABOUT ME
BUT I DONT FEAR YOU
THE FEAR I HAVE IS I PUSHED IT ALL TO FAR AWAY
FEAR ILL NEVER SEE THE YOUR EYES LIGHT UP THAT WAY
LIKE OUR FIRST KISS OR THAT MOVIE DATE
THAT LOOK IS WHAT I GAVE AWAY
ONE THING I KNOW IS THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A CHANCE TO GET IT ALL BACK
SO IAM HERE TRYING MY BEST
TO NEVER LET YOU FALL AGAIN FOR THAT WOULD BE THE END.
