You hurt me so why should I do this for you
Why should I cry when the night time sky is blue
Why should I deserve the moments that you spare
Why should I hurt while i'm thinking you would care
Why should I work harder to get a better education
Why should I give my full participation
Why should I go to school
while you all sleep and drool
Why should I get detention
Why do you get all the attention
Why do I get used
while you get their and get abused
Why do I have to study hard
and all you do is send greeting cards
Why should I braid your hair
and you don't even think to care
Why should I eat a snack
and you always want it back
I don't have to do this for you
but I should because I adore you
