heartless
and hopeless
that is me
this is now
i say **** it all
throw it around
drink up that gin and kerosene
light your match and then let me be
burn my heart
to keep me warm
torch my hope
im sorry to be the one to inform
but being careless is how i cope
now you know
im as imperfect as you
strike me up with those matches
you know i deserve the flames
its the only way to dry the tears
i know it seems such a shame
but this is my resignation
i am giving up
im giving in
ill confess
im just another ***** mess
still saying sorry
like it could bring you back around
now to write you off
as you have given up on me
what did you expect?
i was always a lost cause
im still surprised you took that bet....
But damn this hurts
and it was meant to (it was meant to)
now to keep talking would be a waste of breath
and to keep living a waste of death
so ill let the matter drop
as there is nothing left
but to bury my heart
....rest in peace....

Self pity from SM? What is the world coming to?? This is an emotive spill, full of dramatic flair, meant to make someone feel bad, whom by the sounds of it, was the one originally hurt...How about a sincere apology to her instead, and an honest try at being a decent, caring guy...? Call me crazy, but that would probably work better than torching yourself : )
