Shattered Heart
Like raindrops I fell,
Over soft laden ground,
Shattered pieces of my heart,
Were strewn all around
I thought Id had it all,
Now it's gone and lost forever
Shattered dreams invade my mind
For we are no longer together
Lost within the pages
Of this never ending story
Unable to escape its realm
Im bound to broken glory
Looking deep into the mirror
A fractured image I see of myself
My lifes just like this tragic story
Laying empty on a dusty shelf
One day I pray love will come
Give me a brand new start
Be with me for eternity
And mend my shattered heart

Truly, you two are a deadly poetic combination. Your forms and flows go so well together, excellent rhymes that roll perfectly with the poems theme....nothing forced. Not to mention the beauful message of love thoughout .....bravo

Beautiful you two a tale of tragedy and woe
wonderfully spun by your combined talent. I
think you used "shattered" one to many
times, but that's just my personal opinion.
The opening line of this poem was magnificent
and this line was a gem... I am obsessed
with it... seriously.
"I’m bound to broken glory"
That's just an insane line kudos to you both.

That was just wonderful.......you two go together like tea and crumpets!
Loved the content.........short and sweet, but very touching also.

Although the heart may be shattered into fragments, the human spirit still retains hope.
I especially liked 'Laying empty on a dusty shelf' and'One day I pray love will come'.

Hunnies, this was a tremendous outpouring straight from

Did I not tell you, you two, about that rainbow bridge I built. Go over it, you will see there is a lot of love on the other side.. I made it to get there, and so you can come be with me, and all others who would like to have some love.. there is lots... so much... even an ocean and the sky will be begging to come too. Great write from beautiful friends.
