Clean white dress Pressed to impressed Pressed more still Until it confessed
Funny faces make Quite the funny trace Until the white snow Reveals its cold face
Contorted compromise As empty as your eyes All these ears are empty To these tailored cries
You can catch attention By refusing the veiw And not settling short of Your unpaid dues
You can pay me at any time My apologies They ain't worth a dime
Value is an empty concept A value easily lost I still gobble up your words Despite your decor frost
Because you know me I take in everything I see And it doesn't matter much, now If you want it to be
We never much saw Eye to eye now, did we? An explination here Is worth a deep sea
In your shallow eyes.
A question I never need answered Maybe you could answer me, once If anything besides yourself Ever registered importance.
