How do you live in a world full of liars? How can someone survive? How can I live in a home where I'm hated? I've made a home in your lies They keep me close and visit me every Saturday night They tell me "I love you me and you will be alright" Since we never were a couple, I can't pack up your things So I boxed up your "truly" Your "madly" Your "deeply" your "delilah" and your "swings" My heart is black and broken I reflect it on my nails Something visible you can see since my truth always fails I'm back to daily writing you get me everytime Written so much about our nothing I can't seem to rhyme I think it's time to extinguish the "fire in my eyes" I think it's time to distinguish some truth from all your lies Please take your words away, I cannot hold this burden Your words are knives so over used my wrists are really hurting You are my extacy you are my drug, darling I've overdosed Too much of you no room for me this wound has been exposed Don't band-aid my bullet with your lies the blood will seep right through Just tell me you regret you and me say "I'm sorry but it's true" Your actions spell it out for me ...You love and hold HER dear For me always wasn't long enough to you always is a year <|3
