Fading Away Fast

I've just found out
About your passing
And I freeze
my eyes are glassy
Suddenly the world stops
All I feel is pain
But not for long
My heart starts to race
My stomach turns
I sob and sob
But my sobs are dry
I can't feel anything
I'm too numb to cry
Nothing stays the same
Everthing's changing
Changing fast
Please forgive me
my brother for
pretending not to care
Even when I was with you
I wasn't really there.
But the night you died
As I lay there
Covered in your blood
I thought about our lives
How much I needed you
And now , the month after
I have realized that I feel dead
Everyday I die
When I wake up
Because you're alive in my dreams
I'm fading away fast.
Tortured soul , bleeding heart
Gushing blood
Torn apart
Gushing blood
Withering
Fading away fast
Dying, going pale
Won't last.
