with one simple sorry
no excuse, explanation or sign of emotion in sight
One simple sorry
should make it all right
no conversation or understanding will rise
nothing is written in those empty eyes
No listening, talking or feelings to exchange
Cause that simple sorry
will cover your needed change
No simple sorry will cover the dents and scars
No simple sorry will erase those cold remarks
No simple sorry will make me want to stay
No simple sorry can change my feelings of hate
It would be ok to say your sorry
when the right time has come to take
But now that sorry has no meaning
in my eyes
It's fake . . . .
