Punishing Me
I cant eat, I cant sleep
I havent the strength to drag my feet
The sun beams down an orangey yellow
A zephyr cools, a day to be mellow
But not for me appreciation of such gifts
How can such beauty fail to make spirits lift?
For what is before me
I fail to see
Im so bloody caught up
In punishing me
No sense of worth
Hampers ability for appreciation
It was not made for me
This Godly creation
Close the blinds
Shut the door
For to wallow in my misery
I can look, no more
Take these pleasures to those who can see
Today the beauty in life, is wasted on me
