If you knew I was obsessive compulsive
Would you still think I was confident
If you knew about my eating disorder
Would you still talk with me intellectually
If you knew about my lack of knowledge
Would you still think I was trustworthy
If you knew about the deception and lies
Would you still think I was happy
If you knew about the scars on my wrists
Would you still think I was determined
If you knew about my uncertainty
Would you still think I was independent
If you knew about my fear of loneliness
Would you still think I was patient
If you knew about my eagerness to die
Would you still deny me your love
If you knew what was in my heart

| god you sound so troubled and its crazy that in this day and age people still have to hide all of these problems cos they're scared that they will be outcast. if we had a cold would people look at us differently? no. so why in society are mental problems so different? i hope that you find someone willing to support you through all these problems, im looking for someone who will do the same for me. its a tough fight and a tough search, but i like to believe there are people out there who will care. most of my poems are about exactly the same things as u have talked about here, dont worry you're not alone. xxx |
