And I Bathed Them In Sadness

I learned to kiss every forsaken moment Upon a cracked sidewalk Saving every tear that had fallen Kept in my pocket with no lock
Days I gathered petals As they wept upon me And I bathed them in sadness Loving each one slightly, tenderly, softly
Today I could not capture them all The moments pasted without my kiss Then even I bathed in sadness For every moment, tear, petal, I shall miss
