Tiredness

Contributed by loura on Tuesday, 13th December 2005 @ 03:22:26 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

It seem like people here
think that i am a machine
that i can go on and on and,
never ending fuel runs through my vains.
Like a never ending lightbulb,
like the sun always switched on,
always alive,
even at night, hiding awake
because it has no rest.
Like a river,
that always runs in its bed.
Like the wind,
that always moves around,
and knows everything
because it has visited the whole world
and seen every person.
Like a star that shines at night,
every night,
it's always there.

But one day,
even the machine will brake down.
The sun will set and never
rise again.
The river will soon reach the ocean,
and there it will end its journey.
The wind will soon stop,
and everything will be still.
The star will become as black
as the night that surrounds it.

I want to sleep,
sleep till the night is
over,
sleep till the day goes by,
sleep till the week reaches
an end.
Sleep till the season changes,
again,
and again, and
sleep till this life is over.
Sleep till everything reaches
an end.
Sleep,
untill everything turns into
nothing.
Just sleep.
