A perfect moment in time Sitting on a counter Tea In an over sized cup.

Warming my hands Observing the escaping steam Cross-legged I absorb every stifled sound

The rumbling of a dishwasher The hum of a record that has ended Peace Can not be found else where.

The clock is a ticking reminder But I disregard its concerns Time Can wait for a bit longer

Let my hair flow down Finish the last of the tepid tea 7:47 A perfect moment in time

This is indeed a relaxing read. I appreciate those quiet moments, rare in a house with kids.
Great write, thanks for sharing. It's nice to read something cheerful.

A nice simple picture this paints, and well put-together. Excellent work.
