Return back here with the knowledge that you seek
For a quest youve partaken, far to late now to regret
For choices you will make, and promises youll break
All the power youve been given was taken oh so quietly
By those without charm, just ever so slightly
Pushed and pulled from religion to race
So much harder now to live amidst this place
There will always be the poorer few, who know not why they are
Money is the product of control
To buy and be bought renting out your soul
Chasing your tail to never quite reach
Scraping the surface of whats hidden beneath
To travel so far to be stopped at the light
Fearful to go forth you clasp with all your might
To the familiar feeling, the place thats not bright
Away from the peace you stand back from the light
Preparing once again for another fight
Hoping just this once you lose
So you can use that ticket thats never been used
Aboard flight 22 reserved especially for you
