Have my own Life?

Contributed by skc_cutie on Wednesday, 14th December 2005 @ 02:17:41 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

Why do I feel like I am all caged up?
Lonely away from the world
Invisible and forgotten
No-one to see
No-one to be
All alone with only me

Falling asleep at night
Makes everything alright
Makes everything come true that I want to be

I dont want to be me!
I cant ever have my own life
I cant ever make my own decisions
When will I be my own person?
When can I be my own person?

There is no-one to listen to me
no-one to hear my battle cries
no-one to see all that I feel inside

Empty of a real human life
I am an empty wandering soul
as dusty and dreary as an old forgotten attic
With cobwebs Scattered
The only window,
now shattered with glass all around
The door has been locked
With no key to pull me away
I am alone all by myself
No one to see me through
Cant someone please listen to me?
Cant someone please help me out?
I am all alone in this world
Now all caged up
Cant someone please Rescue me from this nightmare!?!

Im tired of not having my own life
I want to make my own decisions
I want to be my own person
I am finally going to be my own person

touching write. I alsways appreciate a person revealing their soul within the word.

If you want these things I feel deep within you hold the key to make it happen.
Though we all feel alone at times we are never really alone. Search and you will find the answers

hugs
Michelle

A very deep poem that really spills your guts. Great job, keep it up.
