Progression When I first began writing poetry, I just used it as a way to make words sound pretty with generic themes and corny similes I would most of the time insist that my poems rhyme, even if it meant using stupid, forced rhymes that didnt fit right But now, I use poetry as a means of unloading the extremely confusing feelings I am having at this age onto paper It has become an outlet for me to record and preserve these milestone emotions, so that years from now, when these crazy sensations have faded to a distant memory, I can read my poems and defrost those sealed feelings. They could feel real again. Kind of like a T.V. Dinner.
