My first love was my last love, Untill I found you.
I had a wall built around my heart, Then you came crashing through.
All you had to do was smile at me, And the wall I had around my heart went tumbling.
No words could ever express, The I feel about you.
My love keeps getting stronger for you, the more that we go through.
We have been through some rough times, But we've always seem to work it out.
And baby if you ask me, Thats what love is all about.
When you're going through some bad times, I'll help you make it through.
When you're going through some sad times, I'll be right there for you.
I've got a shoulder you can cry on, I'm someone you can rely on.
I'll always be right there for you.
Everytime I see you, It just makes my day.
Everytime I kiss you, My heart will race away.
There is just something about you, That makes me weak in the knee's.
And the only thing I ask from you, Is babygirl please.
Don't break my heart, Because it can't take no more aches.
It's been broken to many times, And I don't know how much more it can take.
You stole my heart and you're the only one, Who will ever have the key.
Because you're the one I truelly love, And that's the way it will always be.
When you're going through some bad times, I'll help you make it through.
When you're going through some sad times, I'll be right there for you.
I've got a shoulder you can cry on, I'm someone you can rely on.
I'll always be right there for you.

that is one cool poem! it realy expresses what love can be like! I know these feelings so well and i have been hurt many times myself.then i found my baby jake and things made sense. I finally feel like i was whole!!

This is really beautiful, and I think it would make a great song. It all flowed so well, and your sentiments seem to come from the heart...Too bad I saw your comment about this being past tense now, and how it ended so terribly! Way to ruin a good love poem! lol j/k I liked this alot. Better luck with love next time...

This is a beautiful expression of your love, Justin. It's a shame she couldn't appreciate the gift of your heart that you were offering.
I hope you are going to keep writing, it's great therapy and I have enjoyed reading your poems.

aww geez man you went and put a tear in my
eye this was a beautiful poem and if its true
you definitely deserve a girl like this. If I ever
find a girl like this I think I'll steal your poem
