Topic: Lifepoems

I went to the club
after I got out the tub
I went to the flower shop
and almost got shot by a cop
I tried to be slick
but I got my butt kicked
two more times
57 rymes
48 gumdrops
24 gun shots
life is hard
so I wrote you a card
many people like to try and be me
but open your eyes and lets take a look see
I'm a girl who might rock your world
but since I live in a jail and always locked up
why you wanna be me
I've been livin this way since I was three
people gettin shot 24/7
and every last one of them I hope they go to heaven
but see for me life is real
you have to grow up so what's the big deal
It's so hard livin in the real world
but life is just ordinary
you grow up believing in the tooth fairy
but you give love just like Joseph and Mary
times may be rough
but you have to be tough
and all you fellas keep your heads up
because I know you might get fed up
but look at me
let me be your inspiration
so come on and lets have a big celebration.
