I felt an euphoric ember
As it burnt deep and hot inside
Such feeling only I remember
I thought it would never subside
Memories growing old and worn
As they struggle to be preserved
From a love so alive but torn
One of which I never deserved
You are still with me in my heart
Exposing me to the cold pain
I struggle to be torn apart
For this is driving me insane
