People who used to be people Succumbed Undone Flattened into oblivion
Surpassed even modest elevation As new highest have been reached And previous barricades have been breached Now the waves remain deep In the ocean- They are afraid of the slippery slope of the beach
Persons who were once a people A symbol Traditional Broken the seal of ethics and morals
Come tomorrow Feelings will change Some sins will be forgiven Others dont have a chance Its never an equal distribution Rather a redirection of faith Pointed inwards Entering the eye-sockets in the face
Citizens of lost civilizations Population Acculturation Agriculture to treat the famine
To ignite the industrial Revolution Factories hire employees Reproduction of past memories Flowing Cool water mixes with the breeze
Parts that used to be whole Empty spaces Lack of embraces Have taken full control

The bitterness in this poem is a rising and falling motion and it takes the reader with it....the way you've put it together makes me want to read it over and over, even though I know I'm still going to miss half of your point... |

Nice, very nice! This write has a forlorn feel to it, and the emotion is very real. Nice job.
