My Knight

The smell of passion lingers on
Even though my love has gone
The pillow where he lay his head
The sweet aroma of my bed

I feel his kisses, lips of fire
Gentle words and sweet desire
Soft caresses,slow yet deep
Slowly rocks me till I sleep

Though he left he lingers on
Will be back when battles won
My brave knight oh how I yearn
For your swift and safe return

A rose he left me in my hand
Beside the rose a golden band
Left a promise to return
Darling knight for you I yearn

Body aching for his touch
For that man I love so much
Come back soon my love I pray
For our special wedding day
