Angel of Mercy

Angel of mercy
Steal my wings and let me float again
The only difference is the sky
An endless collection of miracles.

Hark- what blows near?
A fierce and endless shadow
The Enemy.

Deliverance let me be,
Halt these harsh recollections of a mystery life.
Unknown to me

Who is this girl with the shadow?
Overhanging in the night
No angel of mercy can rescue me this time.

What will it take to resurrect my grace?
Break the silent pact
No shadow belongs to me... never.
I Am Golden

In one swift blow Im broken
Fortunes blown away
Deliverance has thrown me down
Pushed me down,
Swept me aside.

Unworthy now even of hells torment
A slave to the night's evils
Tattooed on my eyelids
A never-ending reminder of my hopeless decision.

Your words make me wonder what sparked such emotion. Where, how, why did the thought of such descriptions begin? A very emotion packed write! Enjoyed the read!

Wow. This was penned well. I really like your style in this one, almost an ancient one, something from ages past.
Take care, and welcome to YPDC.
