for you there were no bells to proudly chime love slipped quietly inbetween us to cushion life's harshness we look to each other in darkness and laugh in the light of day we have minutes not hours we send mesages that say more than they say would we, if we could, fall into each others arms perhaps it's only the chase that titillates heightens the senses as we anticipate each other's next move i walk through your dreams uninvited you sleep in my bed when it's cold illicit and indicted we live in separate worlds we know each other in imagery created for the soul my gift to you this poem
