Your painted nails,my awkward teenage stance
Did you flatter me or was I in a trance ?
I remember the night of our mystery dance

I hinted at my hangups,you said normality can't be defined
You talked of blossoming love but to dissapointment I was resigned
That shared optimim was you trying not to be unkind
And I know I'll miss you bad
Lovesick daughters of Eve who entice me still
Weary saints murmered that noone can buy a thrill
I still remember love so strong it could almost kill
And I know I'll miss you bad
Can I summarise my feelings so at least you might know?
Don't beg me to take that last bus leaving desolation row
My love for you is so buried,it doesn't even show
And I know I'll miss you bad
I demanded all , yet gave nothing back to you
You were so understanding and I know that you were true
And I still love you deep babe no matter what you do
Tonight I am missing you so bad
