Thoughts and dreams

Contributed by socialmisfit on Wednesday, 21st December 2005 @ 03:39:21 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Everything is distorted in the rain...
I wish it would last forever
drenching me in it`s beauty

with the language of the sky
found in the soft music of the foreign breeze
it`s harsh and bitter discord
just right for me

Looking through eyes
of stained glass windows
letting in just enough light
yearning to release such dreams

to a world outside I do not know
trapped in my cathedral
with a shattered stained glass soul

releasing heaven to fall
satisfying curiosity
so I may wake from dreamless sleep
as nothing can exist on it`s own
and forever can come together
with death and a dream
to help me catch a raindrop
for it is so elusive to hold

Very nice write. I love the part when you wrote
"to a world outside i do not know
trapt in my cathedral
with a shattered stained glass soul" it made my stomach drop for a moment. Great job keep it up.

Yes, rain can blur, fog can blind. Do not let your heart be deceived, ensnared by distorted images. Beautiful right, I thank you. Raquel Leah
