In my darkened days
there is but a faint light
so dim yet it shines through
that light I see it is you.
The only hope I see
to keep me from dying
the only person who cares
when Im broken and crying
Oh how I wish you knew
how much you mean to me
I wish you could only know
that I love you
I think for hours for exactly what to say
then I see those loving green eyes
and all my words fade away
Wishing every day for the courage to say
the right words the right things
to make you love me and my pain go away
She probably would never love me but I have to try
for if I dont confess my love to her
then I shall truelly die,
You may not love me
but oh I love you
and if you never find out
I just woudnlt know what to do.
Sweet angel of god so kind to me
sweet every day to me
to my family
If were never together then please know
That in my darkest of days you were the one bright thing that I see.
