This is all new and I am afraid
To let my heart be free
To give unto you as Ive done in the past
And trust that you wont hurt me
You say you know what Ive been through
But you dont know the half of it
Lied to, abused, and cheated on
And just plain treated like ****
I want to trust you with my heart
To share everything with you
But theres this wall that protects my heart
And is very hard to get through
Say youll be willing to wait for me
Until I am ready to share
The feelings Ive held back for so long
The ones that are hardest to bear
