When I look in your eyes, I feel the pain.
Never forgoten, It will always remain.
The anguish that connects us, in such a way.
Remembering the past, the ones that betray.
When I look in your eyes, I see the little boy.
Not the demon, that wishes to destroy.
But him crying all alone, Just wanting them to care.
The life we both lead, seams so unfair.
When I look in your eyes, Its like looking at me.
Hiding the scars, being the best we can be.
But maybe our best is not good enough.
On the outside we stand and act so tough.
But on the inside all these word float inside.
Inside the person we try so hard to hide.
hate, loss, empty, lonely, war, confusion,
darkness, torn, disappear, ignored, sadness,
vanished, abuse, dying, impossible, killed,
confused, cursed, helpless, wasted, forgoten.
When I look in your eyes, I see the broken heart.
Just like mine, that they tore apart.
Oh how I wish I could make it whole once more.
But no one can heal something that happend before.
You try so hard but there always will.
Will be that little crack that you never can fill.
When I look in your eyes, I see the tears.
The tears that build, with all your fears.
Why does no one care, were being the best we can be.
Who we truley are, only me and you can see.
We can not give up, We have made it this far.
Your hand in mine, we will proudly wear each scar.
We will make it through this, and give up never.
Together well make it, and have a smile forever.
I will never forget, the person I fell in love with,
When I looked into your eyes..
