my sunny carefree days
my innocent kisses and cuddles
and just threw them away
you took my teenage years
my exciting experimenting days
my 1st love kisses and cuddles
and just threw them away
you took my family years
my most fullfilling days
my kids kisses and cuddles
and just threw them away
youre not taking my future years
my remaing adult fun days
my future kisses and cuddles
youre not taking them away.

Hearbreaking but inspiring. A confronting betrayal plainly expressed here its all its loss and pain. I loved the sheer will and determination of the last stanza. Thank you for sharing.

| thats right hunnie the future is yours and yours alone no1 can take it away as for the past...it's done and with out the trials and tribulations of the past we wouldnt be able to read such an amazing poem as this one ...good job and much respect |
