A change of treason, another season

I. Suicidal ends: The fall

Nightmares in the back of your mind
A hurt little boy, the path he couldn't find
Puts the razor to his wrist, to put away the pain
Memories flash, within his head
As he slices open, the path to death
You want to leave this world, just do it
you will never come back
All the good you've done, all the people, whose lives you touched
Will never matter again
It's a one way trip, with no way back
Use the razor, inflict the attack, on your fragile soul
As he slips into unconciousness
he confronts his past, present, and future
wondering why the pain never went away...

II. Visions: Darkness on the edge of a frown

His first kiss
His first love
His last breath
The journey above
and into the unknown
Will dying end the pain
will living drive you insane
To give up for good
is to truly give up living
Lying in a sand pit, humiliated
the lowest point you've ever been
You've overcome before, can you do it again?
Memories fly through your brain
as you embrace the realms of death
How can you have a future, if you live in the past?
Friends came and went, anger locked up and pent
up inside, time to explode
Feeling your wrath
on a path of destruction you rode....

III. Postmortem, reigning hate

Acts of violence
Destroying all in your path
Physical and mental destruction
Possessed by a demons wrath
Punching wall, and destroying lives
Including your own, with anger's knives
Others have moved on, but still you will not
Resentment eats at your soul and rots
away the good inside you
You need to get away
Is death the answer, will you live another day?

IV. Suspended animation; Postcard from the edge

Tranquility, serenity, to the edge of forever
You're dying now, you will never
have the chance to feel again
Feel the warmth of the sun, or a lover's touch
If you die, your tormentors win
Think about choices, before you sin...

V. Return

You need to live, to survive again
You're here for a reason, don't turn your back on life
...you're not done yet

VI. decomposure, recomposure

Think of the things, that have touched your life, in a good way
The ones you love, your friends, you're accomplishments
Remove the bad from your mind
Embrace your happiness, let the past go away
Return from the dead, to the living
Wide open spaces, new goals, a new direction
New train of thought, you can do anything you want
Confidence is a state of mind...

VII. The lesson of fate; The inevitable summer

I've realized, there's no turning back
life goes on, the offbeaten track
Seize the day, and don't you cry
Now it's time to say goodbye
to the past
Close the door....

He awakens from the dream
...It's a good day to live
