Cast iron gates
guarding my happiness
the key has rusted
Sharp piercing
by touch
blood trickles down
so fragile, breakable
now by the loss of your smile
Starlit paths blinding
enabling me to see the pain
taunted by the moon
faded colors of the
once perfect rose
bleeding down
staining my skin
