Though you may write these words with anger in your heart, Don't forget the people who've been there for you. They try and try, never getting through You constantly push them away telling them to give up hope "We're sorry lifes been unfair, but know we're always there" They say this in hope for the best But you still tell them to give it a rest "There's nothing out there for me" you say "Look what I have given and look what I got" Your true friends are frustrated and lost on how to help You've allowed the few disastrous choices for friends, Ruin your ability to trust anyone. "We're sorry for what they've done to you" "But don't let their stupity get to you like this" You look at them and say with tears in your eyes, "If I trust anyone I'll just get my heart broken again" Your friends disperse at a loss for words. But when you look up after they all leave, one remains You look at him and say, "Why don't you leave like the rest of them" And he responds, "I wanted to make sure you're okay" "No one cares if I'm okay" you say abruptly With a sincere look on his face he says to you, "Though you have given up hope on your friends," "Know that in heaven, the lord is looking down upon you and saying," "My child, although you may not have what you want in life," "Remember the good you did and the light you've brought unto others." "And know that you mean the world to someone" You look at him with tears in your eyes and down your cheek, He embrasses you in his arms and he says to you, "Thank you for being who you are."
