I dont know If I can continue to fight this emotional war
because when your beaten down, broken
one dosent feel like getting up any more
Tired of the pressure
tired of the pain
alone I stand in the cold winter rain
I see the sun rise
when its already set
painful memories hound me
memories I wish to forget
Look inside heart
tell me what you see
please dont cry when you see the real me
Fighting emotions today and tomorrow
fighiting through the pain trying to get noticed
but being so broken down inside dying of sorrow
IF I knew for sure
that for this disease there was a cure
then Id try to stand up and fight it for one more day
just hopeful that my darkened skys would fade away

| i sometimes feel this way. im just so confused right now about everything... people just come and go and leave me all confused coz i dont have anyone. no one really knows me coz i hide from pain coz i know how it feels and it wont go away. great poem, keep writing... |
