Twisted for the Dead

Contributed by ruby_dreamer on Sunday, 25th December 2005 @ 06:10:29 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

O the sick, sweet pleasures of the twisted mind...
Gives thought to shadows, corners and holes;
Wears masks and paint to fool the crowd
and rob them of their dreams and lies.
Do they depend on my lies and do they live off my masks?
My many faces...the cruelty of my esoteric heart!
And yet the sweet generosity that suffers such a fate
as the strings of a puppet for eternity's time
is the essence of my temporary being.
My scissors will cut the strings of a master
And drain the life from the puppet that once
Danced......

See the things I pay close mind to, and wonder...
Why does she think of such things?
Call me twisted....I hate you...
Because I know it's true, evermore...
Never a star for the dead who are buried with the criminals
But such is desirable compared to the grave of a robot.
And though my existance is loved by all I know,
The dead shine brighter than any star...all night...
They sing the songs they longed for deaf ears to hear...
And oh do they hear it!

O the sick, sweet pleasures of a twisted mind...
That's perhaps not so twisted afterall.

Wow! and wow again! Random poem pops up from a few years back and WOW! This is damn fine writing. Who are you? Where did this come from? Where are you now? This is a nightmare that many of us live and you described and layered it with a masterful stroke fo the pen. I completely loved this work! It is a true magnificent work of art! I hope you read this. I hope you come back here and share more!

EXCELLENT!
