Longingness Lonesomeness Taunting evermore No smell of sulfer Each sinner travels Different levels This pit of no return Each heart forever burns Forever yearns Body renued body and soul Everlasting this abyss this hole The very bowles of earth sulfer No fire in hell Fire burns within every self Who can I blame Truth is my shame Each level a harder degree Instilled within each one a belief Fiends I knew know me not Cursing God and all a lot Demonds taunt and prod Had your chance and you fail agony agnoy always within Selvishness is every sin Gone every thought of pride Fire burns deep in each inside Judgement comes to knowlage known To each is given a soul when born Some cried I'm saved then cast aside Love of God not one here abide Never in my darkest thought lord Lord I'm saved, but I'm not Everlasting this torment of hell Satan forever casting his spell Forever I yearn My God my God yet I burn Ever so often this reminder sight Hell cracks open to reveal His Light Damned to hell now I believe This fire within and no relief Come Lord Jesus then I curse I tell you truth nothing is worse

An interesting piece here.
There are many thought provoking points.
Such as the very concept of Hell.
I believe in 'personal hells' and can very much relate... Despite the environment one may be located in, 'hell' may very well follow an individual, thus creating a constant internal environment, usually accompanying a crestfallen disposition.
This piece reminds me of 'The fragile' by NIN.
"the clouds will part and the sky crack open/ and God himself will reach his f*ck*ng arm through/ just to push you down/ ..."
"No smell of sulfer"
"No fire in hell"
Both of these lines prove that you are expressing terms in figurative and metaphoric language.
As if to express that there is a hell on earth, that exists within our truths, within our sins, inside our souls.
Good work here.
Much enjoyed. |

Yes the Romanticist above is so right.
The concept of hell is perceived by the Muslims, and also Dante as "eternal Ice"
"Both of these lines prove that you are expressing terms in figurative and metaphoric language.
As if to express that there is a hell on earth, that exists within our truths, within our sins, inside our souls."
This I copied from the Romanticist, there is hell or heaven within ourselves. here on earth.
I personally do not dwell on the thought of hell, - - trust in the mercy of all powerful and merciful God.
Great poem though. Have a great Christmas Season.!
Today is St. Stephen, Arch- and Protomartyr of Christendom. and my late husband's name Sake.
Say "Hello" to St. Stephen!
Blessings to you Denis!
