A LONG DAY COMING Forty five years and not another day, You joined your hearts and promised n'er betray. Some days lived, many a day endured,..... Long day coming, your love secured Struggled, sacrificed, sicknesses, success, You refused to look back, forgiveness? Yes, Clinging to one another n'er letting go, Two good forgivers, to you "Bravo!" One long day it seems--all lived carefully Your vows in tact, deep love your bouy Poems are written often to convey...... Love, Admiration, and Congratulations In Everyway!
Created especially for you With Warm love, Connie Sue December 29, 2005
"Ah, how skillful grows the hand that obeyeth love's command! It is the heart and not the brain that to the highest doth attain, and he who followeth love's behest far excelleth all the rest! ~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~
*Smiles* (45 years long) "Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Good for you......Butch and Sharon I'm so happy for you!"

An exceptionally beautiful write of love and longevity. Something we see so little of in this time of instant gratificification. It is like marriage only lasts until something better comes along. I have to commend your friends on working through the good and bad and knowing what love truly is.
Connie, this is so touching. As always you create beauty and strength where it needs to be placed. I know they will cherish this write.
Love and hugs,
Rita |
